Worse product description ever

By | January 26, 2012

But it is kinda cheap. Seriously, doesn’t Amazon check third party product listing for correctness? This is the kind of product description that does not inspires confidence. See for example point 8; “8.Compatible with Apple iPhone 4 4S (Not include the cell phone)” Like yeah… ROTFL. But the product itself is not half bad and it [...]

Otterbox – Confusing selection of simple cases

By | January 12, 2012

Otterbox has always puzzled me. They have a very simple product premise i.e., promising cases that are strong and ruggedized. Their product naming convention regrettably invites head scratching. I find names such as iPhone 4/4S Commuter Series Case, iPhone 4 / 4S Commuter Series Strength Case, iPhone 4/4S Defender Series with Realtree Camo etc. a mouthful [...]

Those flash rings really work

By | January 9, 2012

I once had an Incase snap case for my iPhone 4. It came with a feature call flash ring. Which is just a black ring (rubber?) fitted around the hole exposing the camera and flash. I didn’t think at that time that Incase was keeping it real. Later on when I tried a generic snap [...]

So cheap it’s ridiculous. Too bad it’s iPhone 4 only.

By | January 9, 2012

I saw this charger being sold on Amazon at $1.71. A price so cheap it’s ridiculous. I guess the supplier is overstocked big time on this part. By | January 9, 2012

The Acase Superleggera PRO is an interesting concept. Instead of one case, why not offer 2 in 1 purchase. The inner layer of the case is made of silicone while the outer layer is hard case polycarbonate that goes over the silicon layer. Slip one over the other and viola! Double protection. This is novel [...]

Incase slider case – A classic

By | January 5, 2012

The Incase slider iPhone case is a classic by now and has spawn many imitations. Slider cases offer great protection for your iPhone but at the cost of being a bit bulkier than most. If you are prone to dropping your phone, then this is a reasonable choice to make. When buying sliding cases, I [...]

Twelve South BookBook Case

By | January 5, 2012

Of all the cases I’ve seen and used, this one elicited the most comments from my friends. The leather feels good and looks genuinely like a book cover. So much so my friends thought I had a small bible with me. Inside is an iPhone case and a wallet compartment, sort of. You won’t be [...]
